Join Battery Association for Supply Chain(BASC)

We Chori Co., Ltd. joined a new organization “Battery Association for Supply Chain (BASC)” that promotes the strengthening of international competitiveness of the battery supply chain (the industry related to battery materials, parts and its raw materials). BASC is an organization established as a general incorporated association on April 1, 2021 to carry out activities such as international standardization of battery supply chains and construction of battery ecosystem toward the realization of a carbon-free society.

Our department has been handling primary and secondary battery materials such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese and hydrofluoric acid for many years. We have participated in a lithium compound manufacturing project at the Marikunga salt lake in the Republic of Chile from the early stages, and contributed to expand demand for lithium. We will continue to work with BASC to contribute to the realization of a carbon-free society.
