Our Glass / Ceramics Business
Our department handles a wide range of raw materials for glass and ceramics, mainly barium and strontium compounds, from the Qingdao Red Star Chemical Group (hereinafter referred to as the Red Star Group) in China.
Not only importing and exporting those products, but also we deliver them adding a wide range of services in and out of Japan, taking advantage of more than 40 years of business experience and strong relationships of trust with our business partners.

Our strategy with Qingdao Red Star Chemical Group
We have a joint venture factory in China with Red Star Group, who has the world’s largest production volume of Barium compounds. The strength of Red Star Group is integrated manufacturing from raw material ores to products, and having a wide selection of products.
As the quality of raw materials which required for glass and ceramics use changes, Red Star Group and we have jointly developed the products that meet customer needs. Taking advantage of our strength as a joint venture, we provide comprehensive support such as stable supply, quality supply required by customers, and aftercare.
Diversification of supply source
In addition to China, which is an important base, we are diversifying our supply sources to cover supply instability due to recent Chinese environmental regulations.
